Okuma has increased the size of the main gear to enhance the overall strength of the high-strength HDGII, and the gear ratio of the 3000 sizes has been increased by 7%.
Gearing Stabilization Design
The pinion gear is supported on the top, middle and bottom, enhancing the gears’ stability and longevity.
Flite Drive™
To maximize comfort and ensure optimal performance, the Okuma Ceymar HD Spinning Reel features a hollowed out pinion gear. This design feature eliminates the friction caused when the main shaft moves and allows for a free-flowing handle rotation, reducing drag and resulting in a smooth, enjoyable experience..
The Enhanced Fiber Reinforced II (EFR II) with Diamond Like Carbon (DLC) coating reduces line friction, allowing the fishing line to travel with greater ease over this smooth surface. This helps to extend the longevity of the line and minimizes line twist.
